Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can your loose powders be used for baking?

All STELLAR Cosmic Face Powders are translucent and extremely finely milled. They disappear on the skin and deliver a flawless, poreless finish.

Cosmic Face Setting Powders in Glow 01, Glow 02 and Glow 03 are shimmer free and provide a lightweight matte radiance. They are meant to be used for setting, baking and accenting a highlight.

Cosmic Face Finishing Powder in Haze is a blurring, perfecting powder that is shimmer free and mattifies while delivering radiance. It’s meant to be used sparingly as the last step to finish your look with an airbrushed effect.

Cosmic Face Powder in Aurora and Twilight are illuminating powders that are based on the best-selling Haze perfecting formula. They are applied sparingly all over the face, neck and décolleté for the ultimate lit from within finish.

  • Does Limitless Foundation have SPF?

No, the STELLAR take on SPF is that everyone should apply SPF as the last step in their skin care routine and it should be 50 SPF or above. Brilliant Primer or Limitless Foundation should be applied 15 minutes after SPF is applied. Formulating a foundation with SPF that high interferes with the integrity of the colour and texture of the product.

  • What is the finish and wear of Limitless Foundation?

Satin, radiant and natural like your skin.  Seriously up a notch.

  • How do I apply Limitless Foundation?

A brush, sponge or your fingers can be used to apply the foundation. It is an oil-free formula, so a damp sponge will sheer out the coverage. For more information, please read the Limitless Foundation page on our website.

  • Is STELLAR good for sensitive skin?

    Absolutely.

STELLAR formulas are clean, 100% not tested on animals, and with no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, no fragrance (except in Starlust Lipgloss) and no mineral oils (except in Magnetic Eyeshadow Palettes).

At STELLAR, we believe that sometimes the products that are used to cover up areas of concern, are actually contributing to the problem. It’s important to use clean make-up.

  • Where does the name STELLAR come from?

STELLAR is very much inspired by the universe and universal beauty. Our founder, Monika Deol says, “Stars are like snowflakes. No two stars are alike. No two people are alike, and that’s what makes the world interesting. Stars are giant moving collections of energy, and that’s what beauty is to me: magnetism and energy.”

  • What does the dot in the name mean?

It’s the STELLAR beauty mark and it represents the North Star. It’s seen from everywhere in the world, it’s constant and trustworthy.  We think beauty should have integrity.
